Safeguarding and First Aid

Safeguarding

Welcome to the clubs safeguarding and first aid guide. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our members is a top priority. This guide provides essential information on first aid procedures and general health tips.

All coaches are DBS checked which are registered with the FA and have completed the FA Safeguarding Children course. These checks are reviewed every two years.

Parent contact details should have also been captured as part of the registration process. If there are any changes to these please let us know ASAP.

First Aid and Wellbeing

Our club is equipped with two trained first aiders:

They are certified to provide immediate assistance and can handle a variety of medical emergencies. If you need help, don’t hesitate to approach them.

All coaches are expected to have completed the “FA First Aid in Football” course, and we will always have a first aid kit present.

Any medical conditions should have been noted on registration forms and we will speak with parents individually to assess any specific needs.

The nearest automated external defibrillator can be found on the outside wall of the Sports & Social Club - telephone 999 for the access code.
